Digby Desolation II

After experimenting with 50 limelight cheese, Those who haven't gotten their RhinoBot, Chrome Drillbot and Christmas Cracker BOTH paired up with your luckiest bases seem to work the best. My preference of course is the one with the ultra luck( CC + CC)*** :)
But having said that, I'm still left with these 3 idiots.
Lambent Crystal was because I was unlucky and couldn't attract it :(
The other two are the either the big, ugly and hard to catch one, or the small and cute, hard to attract one.
So, I have given up trying to catch it as I'm know concentrating on getting Points and Gold....those who got your Monolith Base...Gratz!
Now that the devs said that (other than Longtail) there will be NO EVENT in April, I shall start moving to specific regions I think are complicated or require tips...:)
Gratz on me being Hero!!!! :)

Digby Desolation

So 11 new breeds have surfaced up on the Town of Digby... I have experimented for a night and have gathered limited information.
  • Trap setup: Chrome Drillbot + Luckiest Base (2nd), Rhinobot + Luckiest Base (1st) OR Christmas Cracker + CandyCane Base or Magma Base. These are the few who are found to excel at Town of Digby. If you want to get yourself a Big Bad Burroughs Mouse (BBB), Rhinobot seems to be the best option as I used Christmas Cracker and CandyCane, which ended up 2 failures in catching BBB. GingerBread Base may also work for some.
  • Cheese: LimeLight Cheese. 30 Curds and Whey, 3 Living Shards (1.2k), and 3 Radioactive Sludge makes 3 Limelight Cheese. IF you want a Monolith Base (which ROX!), SAVE UP ON THE RADIOACTIVE SLUDGE and then make Limelight in BULK!
  • Using Christmas Cracker and CandyCane, the mice I haven't caught are : Nugget Mouse, Lambent Crystal and Big Bad Burroughs. I'm now trying it out with Digby Drillbot. I'll continue until my Limelight runs out, in the meantime, cross your fingers and hope you get Monolith Base which has a whopping 12% Power Bonus which can be a substitute for Tribal Base :D

Sailor Mouse :P.......pardon the cigarette......

Ahaa....after a week of designing, I finally finished with the next mouse....The Sailor Mouse!!!
Same NOTE : NOT REAL......NOT REAL...NOT REAL....

Sailor Mouse: A great friend of the Elub Chieftain.Choosing to live in Rodentia rather than the beaches of Elub Shore, this power house spends it's time training up the trainees of his ship, making sure that everyone would soon turn into a sailor mouse too. He is a very experienced mouse, and it will take alot for this mouse to let it's guard down.

I have the draft for a new mouse in Whisker Wood; which would be something to look out for.....Meanwhile I'm still experimenting at Town of Digby about the new breeds....

More and more new breeds... they just won't stop coming.....

Urgh..... It's been quite awhile sinced I last posted as I'm kinda busy with life's problems..... And as you know the new breeds from burroughs have surfaced, which I will explain about them once I experiment there....

But here's a peek at some of the mice found there.....
Oh, and the 3 parts for NannyBot upgrade have been released, the devs say that it'll turn into a shadow trap, which will be more powerful then Sinister or Ambrosial portal....BUT..I don't recommend getting that unless you have the parts for another NannyBot cause' Sinister portal would be good enough to last you through till Bottomless grave and NannyBot's the only parental type trap...so...don't bother getting it.

AND a BIG reminder....STOCK UP ON RADIOACTIVE SLUDGE, YOU'RE GONNA NEED ALOT FOR LIMELIGHT CHEESE TO CATCH THE NEW BREEDS!

Cheese Blade!

Since the Terrible Twos Mouse has sparked so many new mice, I decided to put in some extra spice into the Terrible Twos! :) NOTE: This is an extra story that I thought of myself, don't go on thinking this is gonna come out, its NOT real! just something I did in my free time :) Extra Large pic for you to see :):):)

  • *ahem* Now that the Dojo Sesei has awoken, a new combat style has arise! The Cheese Blade! Leading to new students and masters of this new fighting style. Behold! The Master of Cheese Blade and Student of Cheese Blade which have similarities to the Fang, together with the loot it drops and the token.
  • Student of the Cheese Blade: Student of the Cheese Blade are aggressive warriors. They are perfectly trained in the art of sword play and have hardly any obstacles between them. Often seen sparring with each other, these warriors prove to be no pushovers.
  • Master of the Cheese Blade: Although similar to the Fang fighting style, these masters are not to be compared to them. Spending long hours meditating instead of training, these sword dancers use wisdom to destroy their challengers, and are rarely seen taking out their swords.

I might be drawing another Student of the Cheese Blade as this one has almost the same pose as the Master, so look forward to that.
Also, expect more of this kind of stuff coming up!
Note: I say again, this is what comes out of my mind and will not come out in MouseHunt!

Terrible Twos: A revolution....

The Terrible Twos Mouse... caused havoc in town, steals the King's cake, brings the party to Furoma which awakens the Dojo Sensei. Now what? Brings the party to Whisker Wood, and yet another new mouse appears.
The Silth Mouse:This elusive mouse makes his home in the damp subterranean rivers of the underpass, hiding in rocky crags. Its bat-like squeak and the splash of its feet can often be heard in caverns, but when hunters approach, it dives into the water and swims away faster than a Burroughs trout. Because it has spent so much time in seclusion, these guardians of the underpass have unusual taste--anyone aiming to catch it should note that only the gnarliest cheese will tempt it out of hiding.
And the gnarliest cheese? Wicked Gnarly Cheese, which can be imbued from potions dropped by Curious Chemist Mouse:This resident of the Great Gnarled Tree loves to combine different compounds that it finds in nature with cheeses that it pilfers from traps. An avid amateur chemist, it mixes up some seriously strange potions- things that turn fur purple, and make ears grow to ten times their size. No one knows what the Chemist's latest potion does, or why it is suddenly seeking large amounts of Gnarled Cheese and SUPER|brie+, but one thing is for sure: the results are going to be Extremely Gnarly.
  • To get yourselves these mouse(you have to be legend, unless you can catch a hydro mouse with a physical trap), first go to Great Gnarled Tree (Master) and equip yourselves with your luckiest trap (not too weak as well) and get a few Gnarled Cheese Curd Potions if you don't already own some.
  • Imbue the cheese, use them, and wait for the chemist to come.

  • Catching one or two would be enough, then imbueing the wicked gnarly cheese curd potions they have, you would get yourself WICKED GNARLY CHEESE.
  • Then go to lagoon (grandmaster) and using your net cannon or harpoon gun (like I said, LEGEND)
  • Use the cheese there, cross your fingers and wish for the best! (I haven't caught mine yet) Oh, be careful of using all your wicked gnarly cheese, save some as more of these mice would surface soon :)

Onyx Mallet...Worth?

Now that the use of Onyx Stones have been further explained, a new trap has sparked many debates about its worth. The Onyx Mallet Trap is the newest trap to be released by MouseHunt. But is it really worth to get it?

Stats: Power: 3800
Power Bonus: 12%
Attraction Bonus: n/a
Luck: 6
Cheese Effect: Stale
Looks strong? Look at the RhinoBot:
Stats: Power: 4950
Power Bonus: n/a
Attraction Bonus: n/a
Luck: 8
Cheese Effect:Very Stale
Although the Onyx Mallet has a high power bonus, but with good bases like Gingerbread Base, Firecracker Base, and maybe even Tribal Base (if you can afford), and the difference in power is 1150. With these facts, 12% power bonus is nothing.
It's also true that the RhinoBot is very hard to craft, needing 24 STALE superbrie, and needing 16 million points. But the Onyx Mallet too is also no easy feat. 12 onyx stones and blueprints from Dojo Sensei. Quite a hassle.

Verdict: Forget the Onyx Mallet. Digby DrillBot should last you till 16 million points. If you really want it for collection, then good luck :D

MouseHunt Birthday!

I know this would be pretty late as Mousehunt's second birthday is ending soon. Anyways, this post will show you what to do to get your NannyBot for Terrible Twos.
  • To craft you NannyBot, you need to catch 3 mice : RockStar, Birthday and Present. Generally, Birthday and Present will be easy for most people. Just use a Christmas Cracker Trap with Candy Cane Base. If you don't have Candy Cane, get something with higher luck. Those who are new, you guys would have to stick to Swiss Army Knife and Explosive Base.
  • Rockstar is the big problem many of me and my friends faced, those who've played long enough can use Rockforth Cheese. If not, stick to Brie or SuperBrie. P.S BE PREPARED TO WAIT FOR A FEW DAYS!
  • After you crafted you NannyBot, you can go to Meadow to catch Terrible Twos. Using NannyBot, you can choose either to put on a wooden base with target, or a high luck base. Cheese would be either white cheddar (favorite of many hunters) or brie (my preference) Mind you I caught mine with brie.
  • Now, just cross your fingers and hope you get your Terrible Twos and Chocolate Birthday Base! :D
